Join Konstella to access volunteer opportunities.
🌟 All volunteer sign-ups (Room Reps, Art Docents/Art Aides, Classroom Volunteers) open Friday, August 21st at 9:00 AM
Whether you can give a little time or a lot, your support helps enrich our students’ educational experience. Thank you for being part of our amazing school community! Please remember to add your child's classroom to Konstella by following the instructions attached in the pdf!
Before volunteering on campus, all parents must complete the Parent Volunteer Clearance Process:
Click HERE & Submit the Parent Volunteer Clearance Form, which includes:
Reading and agreeing to the Arcadia Unified School District Parent Volunteer Agreement
Completing the TB Risk Assessment Form and Submitting a clear Tuberculosis (TB) test on file with the school office.
New/First-time Volunteers must complete the form and get a clear TB test result before volunteering on campus. The form must be completed & signed off by a physician within the last 60 days.
Returning Volunteers must have their TB test date verified by the front office to ensure they’re still cleared (TB tests are typically valid for 4 years).
Room Reps serve as a liaison between the classroom teacher, families, and PTSA. They help communicate classroom and school information, coordinate classroom volunteers and activities with the teacher, facilitate PTSA-provided classroom teacher appreciation gifts, and support school-wide programs and events.
Co-Room Reps work together with the Room Rep to share responsibilities and help keep classroom communication and activities organized throughout the year.
Konstella will be the primary form of communication, so Room Reps will also help encourage families in their classroom to join Konstella and stay connected with PTSA.

Want to help throughout the year but aren't sure exactly when you'll be available? Sign up as a Classroom Volunteer!
This gives your Room Reps and teacher a go-to list of parents who are interested in lending a hand when classroom opportunities arise. You may be contacted throughout the year to help with:
Library support
Clerical and administrative tasks
Special classroom projects and activities
Other classroom needs as requested by the teacher
Signing up simply lets us know you're interested—you can always decide whether you're available when individual opportunities come up.
Parents interested in serving as an Art Docent or Art Aide can sign up under Foundations in Art Committee Volunteers on Konstella here.
We’re excited to continue growing and enhancing our Foundations in Art program this year. HOPTSA will be releasing art volunteer opportunities for classrooms separately as we finalize plans for this year’s program. Stay tuned for additional information!
Your time and involvement help create a vibrant, connected, and thriving school community. We truly rely on our volunteers to make programs, events, and everyday classroom support possible.
Most of all, our students love seeing their parents and caregivers on campus. It shows them that school is a place where family and learning go hand in hand. Whether you volunteer once a week, once a month, or once during the entire school year, every little bit helps.
Thank you for being part of the Highland Oaks family!
