Dear Highland Oaks Families,
As we gear up to welcome our students back for another exciting school year, we want to share an exclusive addition to our Highland Oaks Performing Arts Program.
Due to money raised through generous sponsorships and general donations last year, as well as funds from Proposition 28, we are now able to grow and expand our exceptional Performing Arts Program!
Beginning in September and running through November, we will be partnering with Centre Stage to offer a new Performing Arts Skills Workshop, where students can learn improv, acting, stage décor, marketing, audio/visual production, and many other specialized talents.
In addition to continuing Show Choir sessions and the annual Spring Show, this opportunity will be offered to students in 3rd – 5th grades on Thursdays at 7:30am. Please keep an eye out for registration information for both Show Choir and our new Skills Workshop. Both have limited space, so it is important to sign up when you receive the email.
Only through your support and that of our community are we able to boast that we are the only school within Arcadia Unified School District (AUSD) and the surrounding districts to offer such an unique Performing Arts program! We hope you will continue to support both our PTSA and the Performing Arts Program so that we can continue to improve and advance our school to new heights!
